Supervision with Stas
She blends clinical expertise with leadership.
Stas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Supervisor with more than 17 years of experience spanning child welfare, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient multidisciplinary care, hospital discharge planning, nonprofit leadership, and direct clinical practice. This diverse background provides her with a grounded perspective on the realities of social work in various settings, equipping her to help you build confidence at every stage of your career.
She pairs trauma-informed care with advanced training.
As a TBRI Practitioner and clinician trained in CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing, Stas brings a trauma-informed and attachment-sensitive lens to supervision. She helps you translate evidence-based approaches into thoughtful, ethical interventions with your clients.
She integrates ethics and practice management.
With a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University, Stas brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and business insight. She equips supervisees to navigate HIPAA, documentation, boundary-setting, and complex real-world dilemmas with confidence. For those working with children and families, she also draws on her experience interpreting and responding to custody documents, helping supervisees understand how to incorporate these legal considerations into ethical and effective practice. Her guidance prepares clinicians not only for the clinical work itself but also for the demands of independent or group practice.
She challenges you to grow as a clinician.
Supervision with Stas goes beyond covering the essentials—diagnostic skills, ethical decision-making, transference and countertransference, and cultural responsiveness. She works best with supervisees who bring motivation, curiosity, and integrity to the table, and who are eager to be both supported and challenged. Together, you’ll engage in direct, authentic conversations that help you sharpen your skills, clarify your clinical identity, and grow into the kind of practitioner you aspire to be.
